22nd June 2004

1. I had a dream about a Finnish girl in my office last night. We were in a bedroom in darkness. She then took me on a tour of Toronto at night. We went to a cafe run by some crazy friends who were just pretending to run it. When it was time to leave she said that she was going to say and that I would have to find my own way back. I asked if she had a key, she said that she usually just broke in somehow. I'm not sure how it ended but I liked her tatoo, but there again things are fairly weird at the moment.

2. I've never known a job where people are so pathetic. I've been out sick for two days and you'd think there was a bomb I'd forgotten to defuse before I left. How many more times do I have to remind these fools?

3. I haven't had a cold for 4 years. I start work and hey presto. Living proof that work kills people. Don't start.

4. Why the fuss? Croatia are no better than say Portsmuff. Good goals vo.

5. Off to see the Chilli Peppers in Cardiff tomorrow night. Not sure if I'm looking forward to it or not. I am looking forward to seeing the new stadium. Can't believe I haven't been there yet. Mind you I've never been in Chepstow Castle.

6. DISASTER. Yesterday I was on my PC at home playing CIV3 I think when...BANG. A huge lightning strike above the house. I nearly had kittens. My motherboard is fried. Would this be covered by house insurance? This happen to anyone else? My guess is that lightning hit a transformer and surged on the power.

7. Traction saturday went well. 5 tonnes of stone in five hours. Not bad for 4 of us. This patio better be worth it. Phrase of the day. That guitar reminds me of everything I hate about Gomez.

8. Low counts on Friday for reads yes? Shameless self promotion warning. Did everyone miss my poem? Here it is http://www.ukauthors.com/article7040.html

9. Ian Wright, Schoolboy extraordinaire actually made up a great word on live TV last night. Foom. I took it to mean fucking marvellous.

10. This reminds me of a word we made up some time ago. Spashion. A heady mix of sports and fashion. We also have recently come up with a similar but different word. Spassion. A passion for sports. I'm calling David Bowie later.
